Amaani Raises $5 Million Series A to Expand AÏZA Across GCC
The Dubai-based company will use the funding to expand AÏZA into Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar while developing new products.
Dubai-based consumer company Amaani has raised $5 million in a Series A round led by BECO Capital, with participation from Homegrown Ventures and Peak XV’s Surge, bringing its total funding to $8 million.
Founded in 2023 by Shubham Poddar, Amaani launched AÏZA in December 2024 as a skincare and haircare brand built around regional ingredients and beauty rituals, including dates, black seed, frankincense, rose and bakhoor. Products are developed with laboratories in Korea, Japan and Italy, while the company also uses AI and other technology across customer analytics, creative testing, performance marketing and operations.
Saudi Arabia is the next focus, with AÏZA set to launch at Ulta Beauty in Red Sea Mall in Jeddah and Riyadh Park by the end of September 2026. Kuwait and Qatar are planned for the fourth quarter. The brand currently sells through its own e-commerce platform, Ounass and Ulta Beauty in the UAE.
Amaani said AÏZA’s net revenue grew more than ninefold year-on-year in the first half of 2026 as the business expanded from digital-only sales into physical retail. The new capital will support GCC expansion, new product development, hiring and further investment in the company’s technology infrastructure.
