Data security in the internet age is a true minefield. Hoping to navigate this tricky terrain are a slew of cybersecurity startups, constantly evolving to stay ahead of the threat. One such award winning company is Bahrain’s own CTM360, a cybersecurity firm specialising Digital Risk Protection which has just been named one of 2020’s top 100 cybersecurity startups, by specialist publication Cyber Defense Magazine.
The global cybersecurity industry is estimated to be worth $152.21 billion in 2020, and the MENA region accounts for more than 10% of that market size.
“We’re pleased to name CTM360 as a winner among the Top 100 Cybersecurity Startups for 2020 in our second annual Black Unicorn awards. This award showcases those companies like CTM360 with this kind of incredible potential in the cybersecurity marketplace,” say judges Robert R. Ackerman Jr. of Allegis Cybersecurity, David DeWalt Night Dragon and Gary Miliefsky of Cyber Defense Media Group, in a joint statement.
CTM360 offers 24/7 cyber threat management services, including online fraud protection, data leakage protection and attack surface reduction, on a subscription basis to clients in Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Aviation, among other sensitive sectors.
“This award showcases why CISOs (Cyber Information Security Officers) around the globe should look at our solutions platform – it’s a fresh take on tackling cyber threats. At CTM360, we look at organisations from a hacker’s perspective to neutralize threats preemptively. Our platform enables our subscribed members to strengthen their cybersecurity posture and have better visibility over their cyber assets,” says Mirza Asrar Baig, CEO of CTM360.
