Bahrain’s Fintech Startup Aion Digital Raises $5 Million Bridge Round
The new funding will be used to headquarter the startup in Saudi Arabia and expand across the GCC
Aion Digital, a Bahrain-based fintech startup, has raised $5 million in a bridge round led by Fintactics Ventures.
Founded in 2017, Aion uses API to enable its clients to create personalized products for their customers. Its three main products include digital onboarding, retail digital bank and corporate digital bank.
Financial institutions that use Aion’s digital solutions include Kuwait Finance House, Boubyan Bank, Jazeel Bahrain, and SIMAH.
The new funding will be used to headquarter the startup in Saudi Arabia, as well as expand across the GCC.
Fintactics Ventures was founded by Revival Lab, and it focuses on supporting fintech startups in MENA. The venture builder is backed by a $40 million venture capital fund.
