Canadian Adtech Group ClearPier Acquires UAE’s MQuest for $35 Million
The deal is part of Clearpier’s recent acquisition spree, which began with its May 2022 acquisition of PubPlus for $60 million.
ClearPier, a leading Canadian adtech company, is acquiring UAE-based Media Quest Group (MQuest) for $35 million.
Founded in 2010 by Jignesh Shah and Sunil Abraham, ClearPier offers performance advertising services. Meanwhile, MQuest, founded in 2020 by John Rowe, Jay (Mitul) Bhojani and Lorraine Hall, is a data-centric marketing startup that bridges the gap between advertisers and consumers exhibiting high purchase intent.
The deal is part of Clearpier’s recent acquisition spree, which began with its May 2022 acquisition of PubPlus for $60 million, followed by Cygobel for $30 million and Hang My Ads for $35 million, both of which took place in Q4 2022.
“We are excited to welcome the founders of MQuest in our journey to build a best-in-class performance marketing company for our clients,” Sunil Abraham, ClearPier CEO, tells StartupScene. “John Rowe, chairman of MQuest Group, brings years of experience in high-growth businesses including public companies, such as National World PLC. His knowledge will be critical in working alongside ClearPier founders in defining the governance framework required to continue the aggressive growth of ClearPier in a sustainable manner.”
MQuest will remain an independent company within the ClearPier Group, and will continue to be run by the current MQuest Board.
