DMZ Cairo & EBank Launch FinTech Bootcamp for Early-Stage Startups
The six-week programme offers expert guidance, networking opportunities and hands-on support to promising entrepreneurs.
DMZ Cairo, the global incubator based in Toronto Metropolitan University's Cairo Campus and hosted by Universities of Canada in Egypt in the New Administrative Capital, has joined forces with EBank to launch an immersive Fintech Bootcamp aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs in the fintech industry.
The intensive 6-week programme offers the opportunity to gain access to a world-class ecosystem that will shape a brighter future for entrepreneurs’ fintech ventures. Selected fintech startups with a Proof of Concept (PoC) or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) will undergo a rigorous and transformative journey. Through expert guidance, comprehensive support, and access to industry experts, participants will have the opportunity to refine their business strategies and network with key stakeholders in the fintech landscape.
Participants will also have the opportunity to compete for a cash prize totaling up to EGP 200,000 and fast-track entry into the upcoming DMZ Cairo incubator program Cycle 3. Through the DMZ’s extensive network of partnerships, startups will gain access to exclusive perks and discounts from over 80 partners totalling more than $470k in business savings. Participants can also enjoy the chance to pilot their fintech solution within a real banking environment, allowing them to validate and showcase innovation in action.
