Egypt's WideBot & Media Persona Al-Daheeh Launch Arabic AI Ed Series
WideBot partners with Ahmed El-Ghandour to launch ‘AQL with Ghandour’, expanding AI awareness beyond technical circles.
Egypt-based artificial intelligence startup WideBot has partnered with educational content creator Ahmed El-Ghandour, known for his programme ‘El Da7ee7’, to launch ‘AQL with Ghandour’, an Arabic-language series designed to explain artificial intelligence to mainstream audiences.
The collaboration was announced during the AI Everything MEA summit in Egypt and marks an expansion of WideBot’s focus beyond enterprise clients. The company said the initiative aims to build broader societal awareness around AI, targeting citizens, students and decision-makers rather than limiting engagement to technical communities.
Structured around storytelling and practical examples, the series will break down concepts such as large language models, human–AI interaction and real-world use cases across healthcare, education, finance, business operations and government services. It will also examine ethical considerations, job transformation and the wider societal impact of automation, outlining both opportunities and associated risks.
The initiative addresses what WideBot describes as a gap in high-quality Arabic content used in AI training data. Limited localised material can affect model accuracy and contextual understanding in Arabic. By expanding accessible and regionally relevant content, the project aims to improve both public literacy and long-term system performance.
