Egypt’s Zeew Raises $170K from Sanabil 500 MENA Accelerator
The e-commerce platform aims to strengthen its customer base with new seed investment.
Egypt-based multi-service delivery platform, Zeew, has secured $170,000 in funds from Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator--an initiative jointly-led by Sanabil Investments and 500 startups--raising the accumulated investments raised by the e-commerce enabler to $400,000.
The startup supports businesses in setting up their online stores, and its portfolio currently boasts clients across multiple sectors, including food and beverages (F&B), pharmacy, and last-mile delivery services.
"There are over 1 million businesses on Shopify today without a delivery system, and with our automated platform we have created a full ecosystem for businesses, in few clicks, the business ecommerce store is created and connected to its native client ordering apps, vendor apps, drivers apps, dispatcher, accounting system and more," said the company’s founder, Mohamed Ghaith.
Zeew aims to use the newly acquired funds to accelerate its global growth and strengthen its customer base. The app is currently used across more than 160 countries across the globe.
