Egyptian Fintech Khazna to Launch New Prepaid Card for Employees
The financial services ‘super app’ has received approval from CBE for an innovative new services developed with ADIB Egypt and Masria Digital Payments.
Egyptian fintech, Khazna, has announced that it has received full approval from the Central Bank of Egypt to launch its new 'Khazna Card' as the latest in its efforts to empower the Egyptian labour force with financial services.
Conceived and developed in collaboration with ADIB Egypt and Masria Digital Payments, the first-of-its-kinds prepaid card will offer users 24/7 access to their wages, feeding into the ultimate goal of moving towards a cashless society.
It's the latest in innovative services to come from Khazna, whose 'super app' offers users earned wage access, bill payment and electronics and household product purchases. The new service will initially be offered to employees, contractors and customers of its many partners, including Hassan Allam Holding, Orascom, Ezz Steel, Alfa Medical Group, El Ezaby Pharmacies, Spinney's to name but a few.
