Egyptian Healthtech Estshara Now Provides Virtual Medical Advice
A new partnership with Integrated Diagnostics Holding will allow for improved care provision and enable the platforms to provide multidisciplinary health services.
Following its $500,000 seed funding round led by Egypt Ventures earlier this year, Cairo-based healthtech Estshara has partnered with Integrated Diagnostic Holding (IDH) effectively streamlining and centralizing medical services on one platform. This partnership will allow improved care provision and enable the platforms to provide multidisciplinary health services.
The integration of their services will allow AlMokhtabar patients to obtain test results and seek 24/7 medical advice in one step, marking a new digital era in healthcare in Egypt keen on developing a more patient-centric system. By using Al Mokhtabar and Estshara, patients will be able to select their preferred mode of communication, upload scans and test results and quickly connect with professional physicians in minutes.
“Estshara is a one-stop-shop and gateway for patients to reach medical providers and obtain necessary medical services, advice, diagnosis and referrals. Not only that, but we support the patients throughout their medical journey, but also aim to provide a complete ecosystem to all stakeholders in digital healthcare,” said Amin Elhemaily. “The key for future success is going digital. We strongly believe in establishing solid partnerships that enrich the healthcare ecosystem, provide our sector with opportunities, and accelerate digital transformation. We are very proud and excited to announce this strategic partnership with ALMOKHTABAR to advance digital health capacity and achieve sustainable development which aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030.”
The new funding Estshara secured in July 2021 propelled the platform’s development of its digital infrastructure, adopting AI and machine learning to create a more secure medical record database for physicians.
