Egyptian Last-Mile Delivery Startup dreevo Officially Launches After Raising Six-Figure Investment
The startup will initially serve 22 cities in Egypt, but bigger plans are already afoot.
Egyptian startup, dreevo, has launched operations after raising a six-figure investment that will see them offer their last-mile delivery services across Egypt. Raised in a bootstrap, Pre-seed fund third-party logistics service provider, EG Logistics, the news comes as dreevo looks to introduce affordable and agile tech solutions for e-commerce entrepreneurs.
Founded just this year, dreevo ultimately aims to simplify the e-commerce business cycle for vendors and customers alike, doing so by offering last-mile delivery solutions that can be tailored to the needs of merchants.
“We are positioning ourselves to be the partner of choice for all e-commerce startups and merchants in the region,” CEO of dreevo, Sameh Shaheen said. “dreevo combines the unrelenting passion and significant experience of our ambitious team to challenge, and completely overhaul the current last-mile ecosystem status quo.”
The investment couldn’t have come from a more fitting source, with EF Logistics seeing dreevo’s streamlined and analytics-backed solutions as an evolution in the field.
“dreevo represents the next logical step in our evolution as a third party logistics provider,” CEO of EF Logistics, Ahmed El Zahwi, said of the investment. “With their emphasis on advanced analytics combined with the caliber of the team assembled, coupled with our own experience in the logistics field, we have no doubt that dreevo will flourish into a regional market leader in the growing market of last-mile delivery solutions.”
Dreevo will initially operate in 22 cities in Egypt, though plans are already afoot to cover more areas, as well as plans to introduce more services and even spread across the MENA region.
