Egyptian Startup Imaginators Wins the MO4 Competition at Alexandria's Techne Summit

The startup, founded by a 16-year-old entrepreneur, is a presentation website for designers which reached 24 countries in its first month.

Egyptian startup Imaginators, spearheaded by 16-year-old entrepreneur Moody Boles, took home the first prize at the MO4 Media Startups Competition, held at the Techne Summit in the coastal city of Alexandria. The summit, kicking off on Saturday 30th, gathered thousands of would-be entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts and startup founders to showcase their ideas and listen to inspiring talks by global changemakers like Agamemnon Otero, Mark Turell, and Jessica Berlin. 

At the competition, five startups whose businesses are related to the media and marketing field pitched their ideas in front of a jury, composed of Lebanese investor Nicolas Rouhana, General Manager of IM Capital; Oasis 500's CEO Faisal Hakki, hailing from Jordan; Instabug's Aprille Muscara, and Startup Scene Editor-in-Chief Valentina Primo.

Taking home the first prize - mentorship and digital marketing services by MO4 Network - young entrepreneur Moody Boles, founder of Imaginators, was crowned. The startup,  platform where designers and artists can create customised presentations without any programming or design knowledge, had previously won the Orange Startup Cup in June, defeating over 570 applicants. After an intensive four-month incubation process, the startup was also awarded as one of the five winning teams and took home a prize of 50,000 EGP. The entrepreneurs also recently joined the Innoventures Startup Reactor accelerator program to keep refining their business, and were recently selected to pitch at Betapitch Cairo.
