Hydrojeen to Expand Across Saudi Arabia Following Pre-Seed Funding
Saudi water solution startup, Hydrojeen, will be able to use the investment to spread across the region and expand on its consumer reach.
Saudi startup Hydrojeen has secured an undisclosed pre-seed investment in a funding round from angel investor Muhammad Abdul Aziz Al-Arifi.
Launched in 2020 by Mohammed Albaity and Muhannad al-Qurashi, Hydrojeen is a smart system device that enables users to monitor water consumption on a daily basis through their mobile app. Hydrojeen seeks to put an end to the problems that can cause sudden spikes in water bills, as well as damages resulting from leaks inside Saudi Arabian homes. The app can notify homeowners of any leaks that it is able to detect.
With the newly acquired funds, the startup plans to expand the manufacturing process and grow its consumer reach, while attracting new hirable talent and competencies to raise their team’s productivity. The startup aims to become the first stop for innovative water solutions in the Middle East.
