Iraq's Mabiati & Al Jabal Agriculture Secure Six Figure Funding

Mabiati, an Iraqi digital commerce startup, and Al Jabal Agriculture, an agritech company specialising in AI-powered farming solutions, have secured separate six-figure investments from Iraqi investors and strategic partners.

Both companies participated in Orange Corners Baghdad and are supported through the Orange Corners Innovation Fund Iraq, a growth and investment readiness programme implemented by Iraq Venture Partners. The funding will be used to expand operations and strengthen technology capabilities.

Founded by Mohammed Al Sultan, Mabiati operates a digital commerce platform that enables individuals and entrepreneurs to launch and manage online stores without upfront capital requirements. The platform connects merchants, suppliers, logistics providers and customers through a single system.

According to the company, Mabiati has served more than 20,000 customers since its launch and recorded average growth of around 40%. The new investment will be used to restructure existing obligations, expand its workforce, launch the second generation of its platform, upgrade server infrastructure, introduce automation systems, establish an in-house content production studio and expand marketing partnerships.

Al Jabal Agriculture was founded in late 2022 by remote sensing specialist Mohammed Nabeel Al-Ruwaishdi. The company provides AI-powered farming services using satellite monitoring, geographic information systems and agricultural analytics.

The company currently manages and monitors thousands of dunams across Iraq and aims to increase that figure to more than 100,000 dunams within the next year. According to Al Jabal Agriculture, its technology has helped clients improve productivity by more than 25% while reducing unnecessary spending and resource waste worth more than IQD 600 million.
