KSA-based Prexle raises USD 670K Seed funding round

The Point of Sale startup helps retail store owners in several industries to manage their business while providing e-invoicing on transactions.

Prexle, the Saudi Arabia-based cloud Point of Sale (PoS) startup, has completed its Seed funding round of USD 670K (SAR 2.5M) from a number of angel investors.

“We’re happy to close our round of investment, which is going to surely help us improve the retail industry in the Kingdom through employing the latest technologies in the point of sale industry,” CEO and Co-Founder of Prexle, Abdullah Alajlan, said.

The startup helps retail store owners in several industries to manage inventories, customers, purchase orders, discounts, as well as generate reports on sales, taxes, and inventories. Prexle is one of the few companies that provide e-invoicing on transactions, which is in line with new regulations placed by Saudi Arabia to make e-invoicing mandatory by the end of 2021. The startup seeks to use their funds to improve the retail industry in Saudi Arabia.
