Qatar Investment Authority and COFIDES launched the Ispania Growth Fund to back Spanish SMEs operating across green and digital sectors.
Qatar Investment Authority and COFIDES have launched the Ispania Growth Fund, a €300 million investment vehicle focused on Spanish small and medium-sized companies operating in clean energy, digital transformation, and technology sectors.
The fund is intended to support Spanish SMEs modernising operations across green infrastructure and digital industries.
Management of the vehicle has been assigned to Portobello Capital.
According to the announcement, the fund will channel investments through COFIDES’s FOCO co-investment programme, which combines international capital with local execution frameworks to support high-growth businesses.
The investment strategy targets companies involved in green transition projects, digital infrastructure, and technological innovation across Spain.
The launch reflects continued Gulf investment activity in European technology and sustainability-focused sectors, alongside growing international interest in Spain’s small and medium-sized business ecosystem.
