Rise Up Summit Reveals Line Up of Global Speakers
From pioneers at Google to creatives at Disney, these speakers will take over Rise Up Summit at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Rise Up Summit, the largest annual entrepreneurial event in the Middle East, is returning to Cairo from March 16th to the 18th, and they have just announced an incredible line-up of key speakers that will be taking over the stage at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Key speakers taking to the Tech Stage include Kimberlee Archer, Head of Augmented Reality Marketing at Snapchat Inc., Ronaldo Mouchawar, Founder of souq.com and VP at Amazon MENA, Shaloo Garg, Managing Director at Microsoft, and Hisham El Nazer, Country Manager at Google.
Javier Villamizar, Operating Partner at SoftBank and Rami Eldokkany, Chairman at the Egyptian Exchange, will take over the Capital Stage alongside Amal Enan, Partner at 500 Global and Nathan Makdad, Director of Data Storytelling & Visualisation at Paypal.
Mohamed Diab, Filmmaker & Director of Moon Knight, and Shabriya Cleaver, Production Executive at DreamWorks Feature Animation are headline speakers for the Creative Stage, alongside Amir Eid, Lead Singer at Cairokee and Jeff Gipson, Director at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
The Summit will offer startups ‘investment matchmaking’ where they will be paired with a matching investor, as well as ‘talent matchmaking’ that puts individuals looking for work with companies who are searching for their particular skillset. Also on offer is the opportunity of mentorship from experts on fields such as brand marketing. All this will come alongside the opportunity to network with people in all fields and professional backgrounds, thanks to the presence of company booths.
Habiba Elkassed, Content Lead at Rise Up, announced that the summit will be exploring six main tracks this year: sustainability; smart capital; emerging tech; creative economies; tech and society; and '10 years,' which will explore how the startup ecosystem has developed over the last ten years and what entrepreneurs can anticipate from the next ten.
