Saudi Edtech AlGooru Raises $4 Million Led by Constructor Capital
The funds will allow AlGooru to expand operations, advance its AI technology, and enter new verticals to transform tutoring.
AlGooru, Saudi Arabia’s first licensed private tutoring platform, has raised $4 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by Constructor Capital, with participation from Hub71, angel investors and family offices. This latest investment follows a $1.8 million Seed round in 2022.
The newly raised funds will be used to expand AlGooru’s operations in Saudi Arabia, particularly focusing on offline tutoring, while advancing its AI-driven technologies. The company also plans to enter new verticals through strategic partnerships set to be announced in 2025.
Founded in 2021 by Khalid Abou Kassem and Omer Awad, AlGooru connects students with on-demand private tutors across 20 core subjects, from math and science to language development. The platform is designed to provide safe, convenient and modernised tutoring solutions, catering to students of all ages and educational levels.
“We are excited to deepen our reach in the region and make high-quality education accessible, safe, and impactful,” said Khalid Abou Kassem.
With this new funding, AlGooru plans to enhance its technology-powered platform and diversify its subject offerings. The company is poised to drive growth in the region and redefine the tutoring landscape, providing flexible, tech-enabled solutions for students across Saudi Arabia.
