Saudi Healthtech Platform Aumet Raises $7 Million Pre-Series A
The new fund will be used to develop Aumet's AI capabilities and expand its reach to more pharmacies across the region.
Aumet, a Saudi-based healthtech platform, raised $7 million in a pre-Series A round, which saw participation from Tokyo-based VC fund AAIC, alongside Swiss PE firm AIJ Holdings, Hamad Ali Sagri family office, Tijah Holdings, Cigalah Group and early backer Shorooq Partners.
Serving over 10,000 pharmacies in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, Aumet is an AI-based B2B platform that offers solutions to healthcare providers, using predictive analytics to help pharmacies save costs and engage with the supply chain more efficiently. The platform helps share data between healthcare providers, distributors and manufacturers to better forecast the procurements of products, and help all involved make better decisions.
The new fund will be used to develop Aumet's AI capabilities and expand its reach to more pharmacies across the region.
