Saudi Logistics Startup WheeKeep Closes $8 Million Series A Round
The startup offers semi-mobile self-storage units for individual clients as well as businesses.
Saudi-based logistics startup WheeKeep has raised SAR 30 million ($8 million) in a Series A funding round, led by American investors Fintech Collective, as the company continues to expand within the Kingdom.
Founded in 2020 by Sultan Alolayan, Amr Almarzouki, and Youssuf Fayez, WheeKeep provides mobile self-storage units designed for both individual customers and businesses. The startup’s weather-resistant units are secure and connected through a suite of tech services, allowing them to be transported to any number of locations, suiting the client’s preference.
Though logistics companies are one of many startup sectors enjoying significant growth in the recent boom, the novel semi-mobile approach of WheeKeep has attracted interest from the United States.
