Saudi micromobility startup, Gazal, has announced that it has raised $2 million in seed round funding on its way to achieving its goal of strengthening the infrastructure needed to become integrated in every community across the country.

Founded as recently as 2020, the RIyadh-based startup aims to transform the future of transportation in KSA and GCC, bringing greener and more sustainable alternatives to short-distance travel.

"We are determined to revolutionise transportation and contribute to the reduction of air pollution with simple, safe, and sustainable mobility solutions,” said co-founder, Haytham Alsuhaimi. “Enhancing the quality of life and helping to make streets full of people rather than cars is a top priority to Gazal.
