Saudi Retail Platform Raff Raises $1.7 Million Pre-Seed Round
The funding will support Raff’s GCC expansion, product development and AI capabilities as it helps online-born brands enter physical retail.
Saudi-based B2B retail platform Raff has raised $1.7 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate its expansion across the Gulf Cooperation Council and further develop its product and artificial intelligence capabilities.
The round was led by Vision Ventures, with participation from 500 Global, Palm VC, Oqal Group and Salman Butt, Co-Founder of Saudi e-commerce platform Salla.
Founded in 2024 by Ali Al Qudah and Abdul Kareem Munla, Raff is focused on a persistent gap facing consumer brands that begin online but want to expand into physical retail. While e-commerce platforms have made it easier to launch and sell digitally, entering offline retail can still require separate commercial agreements, logistics processes and onboarding with individual retailers.
Raff’s platform is designed to consolidate those processes by connecting consumer brands directly with retailers and digitising distribution, commercial operations, inventory management, order fulfilment and payments. For retailers, the platform also automates operational workflows and integrates with major point-of-sale and accounting systems used across the region.
“We built Raff after experiencing firsthand how difficult it was for growing brands to move beyond online sales,” said Al Qudah, Co-Founder and CEO of Raff. “Our mission is to simplify that journey and give brands a faster and more efficient way to reach offline customers.”
The company said the new capital will be used to expand its GCC presence, strengthen its underlying retail infrastructure and accelerate the development of AI-powered capabilities across the platform.
Since launching less than 18 months ago, Raff says it has worked with more than 900 brands across nine countries, including markets in the GCC and the UK, helping them grow through physical retail channels.
