Solutions by STC Signs $37M Computing Deal With Aramco
A $37 million contract will see Solutions by STC deliver high-performance computing infrastructure for Aramco’s upstream operations.
A $37 million contract has been signed to develop high-performance computing infrastructure for oil and gas operations, supporting exploration and reservoir analysis activities.
The agreement involves Arabian Internet and Communications Services Company, also known as Solutions by STC, and Saudi Aramco, under the Upstream Supercomputers Project.
The project will focus on commissioning advanced computing systems designed to process large-scale data sets used in upstream operations, including geological modelling and reservoir evaluation.
Structured as a one-year scope, the contract will see the infrastructure built and deployed within that timeframe.
The financial impact of the project is expected to begin appearing in Solutions by STC’s financial statements starting from the first quarter of 2027.
