TERN Group, a UAE-based startup, has raised $24 million in a Series A funding round led by UK-based Notion Capital, with participation from UAE’s EQ2 Ventures, RTP Global, LocalGlobe, Leo Capital, Presight Capital, and Tom Stafford of DST Global. The round brings TERN’s total funding to $33 million.
The company operates an AI-powered platform designed to train, certify, and deploy healthcare professionals from 13 countries. Its Clinical AI Workforce system significantly reduces hospital hiring timelines — from six to 12 months down to less than 10 weeks in many cases — addressing staffing shortages across the GCC and beyond.
With this funding, TERN plans to deepen integrations with healthcare systems, expand into Europe and the UK, and invest in compliance and training infrastructure. The company aims to meet the growing regional demand for skilled medical professionals while strengthening its footprint as a leader in AI-driven workforce solutions.
