Turkish F&B Startup FineDine Raises Investment from Savour Ventures, Plans to Expand in Gulf

FineDine, a Software as a Service (SaaS) digital menu platform for the food and beverage and hospitality sector has scored an undisclosed investment from Middle Eastern food vertical accelerator Savour Ventures. The startup aims to use the new capital to establish market dominance in the Gulf region and grow in South East Asia.

The platform allows restaurant customers to self-order using their software, helps restaurant managers make decisions based on analytics collected from menu and service performance, and decreases the friction between the diner and the kitchen.

Duyugu Kutluoglu Kilic and Adil Burak Kilic launched FineDine in March 2016 in Istanbul to support their idea of digitising paper menus for diners, restaurants, cafes, bars and hotels in an attempt to increase sales and customer retention. As of today, FineDine serves over 800 customers in 52 countries, with a portfolio of clients including Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Shangri-La Resort, and more.

The startup graduated from 500 Startups’ accelerator programme in San Francisco, with an initial investment from 500 Startups Istanbul, as well as Turkish angel investors Fira Isebecer and Hande Enes. Co-founder Adil Kilic contributes the startup’s success to their effective digital marketing stategy, and is certain that the startup will make use of Savour Ventures’ network, mentors and experience in the market to grasp a deeper knowledge of the F&B scene in the GCC.
