UAE-based AI finance platform Kudwa has raised $1.1 million in a funding round that closed in late 2025, with plans to accelerate product development, grow its team and expand operations across Gulf markets.

The round included participation from UK-based 1818 Venture Capital, F6 Ventures, US-based Sparked VC, Institutional Venture Partners and Lebanon-based IM Fndng.

Kudwa is developing an AI-driven platform designed to help finance teams manage fragmented financial data spread across multiple systems. The platform consolidates financial information, generates reports, analyses data and produces recommendations aimed at reducing the manual work required to connect different finance tools and databases.

CEO and co-founder Karl Nasr said the company focuses on supporting finance leaders who work closely with executive management. According to Nasr, the platform is built to assist finance managers, chief financial officers and financial planning and analysis teams by automating routine processes and centralising financial data.

The company said its technology combines machine learning models with large language models while incorporating statistical techniques intended to reduce risks commonly associated with language-model-based systems.
