UAE Startup MilkStraw AI Raises $2M in Seed Funding Led by VentureSouq

MilkStraw AI, a UAE-based artificial intelligence startup focused on automating cloud infrastructure cost management, has raised USD 2 million in a seed funding round led by regional venture capital firm VentureSouq. The round also included participation from Ibtikar Fund and M Capital and was completed in roughly 45 days.

Founded in 2024 by Jawad Shreim and Anas Abdullah, MilkStraw AI builds software that helps startups and growing companies reduce manual effort in cloud cost optimisation so engineering teams can prioritise product development. The platform is reported to be used by more than 100 startups, including fintech and tech firms such as Thndr, Ziina and Maqsam.

The newly raised capital follows a previous USD 600,000 pre-seed round in early 2025 led by Flat6Labs and other investors. The latest funds will be used to strengthen MilkStraw AI’s product suite with features like real-time activity monitoring, automated resource allocation and an AI-driven conversational cloud interface, as well as to support broader regional expansion.
