UAE-based Longevium Raises $7 Million for AI Longevity Research Lab

Dubai-based longevity healthcare company Longevium has raised $7 million in its first investment round and begun developing an artificial intelligence-powered longevity research laboratory at Dubai Science Park, with the facility scheduled to open in Q4 2026.

Designed as a dedicated research and development centre rather than a clinical facility, the laboratory will combine artificial intelligence, biomedical research and clinical practice to develop technologies that predict health risks, measure biological ageing and support healthier, longer lifespans.

The funding will also expand research into AI-powered digital twins that simulate personalised treatment plans before clinical use, alongside projects in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and advanced cell therapies. Other areas of research include robotic diagnostic technologies such as swallowable imaging capsules, AI-powered skin cancer scanners, smart contact lenses capable of analysing tear fluid, and the therapeutic potential of noble gases including xenon, argon, helium and krypton. The company also plans to develop a regional AI model for biological ageing by combining laboratory biomarkers, medical imaging, body composition analysis and wearable device data.

The project aligns with Dubai's ambitions to strengthen its position as a hub for longevity research and preventive healthcare. Longevium currently operates clinics in Jumeirah 3, Jumeirah Lake Towers and Jumeirah Village Circle, where it says it has treated more than 30,000 patients and employs nearly 100 physicians and specialists. The company is also recruiting international researchers and seeking partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare providers and technology companies working in AI-enabled diagnostics and longevity medicine.
