You Will Soon Be Able to Drive from Egypt to Chad

The Ministry of Transport is currently researching how they would establish a road that would connect Egypt and Chad through Sudan. An Egyptian-Sudanese research committee will determine the structure of the route, and how best to reduce the environmental impact of construction.

The new road is part of a transportation plan to connect neighbouring African nations along the coasts of the Nile river.
