The initiative is a partnership between Value Makers Studio, the Economic Development Centre and Madinah’s Chamber of Commerce.
Al Madinah Ventures has launched a $10 million investment fund to attract tech startups and foster innovation in Madinah.
This initiative, a collaboration between Value Makers Studio, the Economic Development Centre, and the Madinah Chamber of Commerce, aims to transform the region into a hub for entrepreneurship and economic growth.
Madinah currently contributes 7% of Saudi Arabia’s GDP, and houses over 60,000 small and medium-sized enterprises. By 2025, it plans to attract more than 30 investors annually, and launch five new companies each year.
Logistical and structural support from the Madinah Chamber of Commerce facilitates relationships between entrepreneurs and investors, fostering a sustainable environment for innovative ventures through public and private sector collaboration.
A key component of the programme is empowering Saudi youth, equipping them with entrepreneurial skills through the SaudiPreneur initiative to help them build impactful startups. Additionally, The Bridge programme aims to integrate international startups into the Saudi market, further strengthening global ties.
Value Makers Studio has previously invested in 10 startups collectively valued at $180 million, supported over 350 entrepreneurs, and created more than 800 jobs.
