Egypt’s Industry Ministry Launches Mobile App for Investor Complaints
The new app aims to streamline investor complaints and inquiries, providing faster and more structured government responses.

Egypt’s Ministry of Trade and Industry has launched the first version of a mobile application to facilitate investor complaints and inquiries, as part of a broader effort to improve communication between businesses and government authorities. The app is currently available for Android users, with an iOS version expected soon.
The app - called ‘دعم المستثمرين’, which translates to ‘Investor Support’ - allows investors to register an account using their name, phone number, and email address, enabling them to submit complaints, track their status, and receive official follow-ups from the ministry. The initiative aligns with directives from Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El Wazir to enhance digital transformation in industrial and trade sectors.
Egypt has been expanding its digital infrastructure to improve investment conditions and reduce bureaucratic delays. Recent initiatives include electronic business registration and online licensing systems, which aim to streamline administrative procedures and attract more investment.
