Egyptian e-commerce platform Taager has launched operations in Casablanca, extending its Middle East and North Africa footprint to Morocco as it targets the country’s fast-developing e-commerce scene.

Launched in 2019, Taager provides an end-to-end platform that allows individuals to start selling online without carrying inventory or paying upfront costs. The company manages sourcing, logistics, delivery, and payments in one system, aiming to widen access for young, digital-first entrepreneurs.

“Morocco brings together a connected youth and a strong digital ecosystem,” said co-founder Abdelrahman Sherief. Local operations will be led by Salma Ammor, with plans to hire key roles and support young digital entrepreneurs through accessible e-commerce tools.

The move follows Taager’s build-out in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, and marks another step in its regional expansion across the Middle East and North Africa.
