Endeavor Appoints Heba Ali as Egypt Director
Heba Ali will be leading 57 high-impact Egyptian entrepreneurs whose companies have generated over EGP 5.4 billion in revenue.
Endeavor, the world’s leading community hosting high-impact entrepreneurs, has appointed Heba Ali as its new Managing Director for Egypt.
Ali has previously served as an investor, development economist, and business strategist, securing a pioneer status in her field through a focus on high-impact entrepreneurship, venture capital investment, and institutional innovation.
She joins a global network which spans 40 countries supporting over 2,000 entrepreneurs whose combined company revenue amounts to over £28 billion. As Managing Director for Egypt, she will oversee 57 entrepreneurs leading 36 companies which have collectively created over 11,000 jobs, and generated over EGP 5.4 billion in revenue,

Heba will be taking over from Mohamed Rahmy, who has led the Egypt office since 2016. The outgoing director remarked that “it's a very exciting moment for Endeavor especially at this time in the Egyptian ecosystem and an exciting, but also bittersweet one for me personally [...] I leave Endeavor today but will remain a champion of its mission, cheering from a distance and observing its inspiring impact unfold.”
Ali will bring a wealth of experience to the network. After obtaining an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), she has accumulated experience from her time at the Mercy Corps, served as Founding Managing Director of Egypt Ventures, worked as Partner at Endure Capital, and was the Founding Vice Chairwoman of Falak Startups.
