Fawry & Erada Finance Partner to Enable Instant Microfinance in Egypt
The initiative allows micro, small, and medium enterprises to receive financing through Fawry’s nationwide branch network.
Fawry, an Egypt-based fintech specialising in digital payments and financial services, has activated a partnership with Erada Finance, a lender focused on financing micro, small, and medium enterprises, enabling businesses to receive financing instantly through Fawry Plus branches across Egypt.
The initiative allows beneficiaries to collect funds through Fawry’s nationwide branch network, offering a digitalised disbursement mechanism designed to accelerate financing cycles for small businesses. The move aligns with Egypt’s broader financial inclusion agenda and the country’s Egypt Vision 2030, which emphasises digital transformation in financial services.
The system operates through real-time digital integration between the two companies, allowing funds to be disbursed instantly while reducing risks associated with cash handling. The approach is also intended to ease congestion at traditional financial branches by enabling faster access to financing.
Fawry Plus locations function as integrated financial service centres, offering cash services and collection solutions while supporting small and medium enterprises with financing access through digital channels.
