Uzbek fintech company OSON has been granted in-principle approval (IPA) by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to establish regulated operations within the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Founded more than eight years ago, OSON serves over three million users across Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Its core offering includes the OSON Wallet, a proprietary multi-currency platform supporting cross-border payments and financial services. The licence milestone paves the way for the company’s next phase: launching multi-currency payments, remittance services and B2B fintech infrastructure in the UAE, with Dubai positioned as its regional innovation hub.
