Former Lionsgate Executive Unveils Saudi-Backed Arena SNK Studios
The new venture, called Arena SNK Studios, plans to expand into gaming and live events, signalling a wider entertainment strategy.

Former Lionsgate co-president Erik Feig has launched a new Hollywood studio backed by MiSK Group, SNK, and MBC Group — three entities with ties to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The partnership situates the venture within a growing network of Gulf investment in global media and entertainment. It also marks Feig’s return to the industry, aligning one of Hollywood’s most seasoned dealmakers with regional groups increasingly focused on international content production. The new venture, called Arena SNK Studios, is backed by approximately $1 billion in financing. Beyond producing films and television series, the studio plans to expand into gaming and live events, signalling a wider entertainment strategy. Its board includes Majid Al-Ibrahim as chairman, alongside Sean Bailey (former president of Walt Disney Motion Picture Production), Andrew Chen of a16z, and Charlie Wen of Epic Games.
