GoDaddy Teams-Up with Egyptian Fintech Fawry to Support Digitisation

This new tech-based collaboration is aimed at helping startups step into the world of digitisation and digital payments.

Global tech giant, GoDaddy, has announced a new partnership with trailblazing Egyptian fintech, Fawry, on a new venture that promises to offer tools and services to entrepreneurs and startups. Built on the intent of facilitating technological growth, this new collaboration provides the tools and skills needed for secure and swift online payments.

The partnership will see Fawry’s array of payment methods, including but not limited to bank cards, e-wallets, installments, and reference numbers, be extended to startups and SMEs. These payment methods will not only be made accessible to small businesses, but they’ll be made securely, allowing them to improve their digitisation processes alongside the integration of electronic services.

This endeavor supersedes GoDaddy’s own expansion within the Middle East, with the company having just launched an Arabic website builder. The launch was curated with the intent of facilitating computerised business growth to an Arabic-speaking demographic - a website builder in our own mother tongue.

Subsequent to global pandemic measures, the need to rapidly digitise has grown tremendously, and collaborations comparable to those of GoDaddy and Fawry are developmental necessities in this new tech-heavy age.
