AntX has acquired Magnum Egypt in order to link research and development with robotics and electronics education in Upper Egypt.
Egypt-based research and development and embedded systems company AntX has acquired edtech startup Magnum Egypt in a move aimed at integrating advanced technology development with practical skills-building in Upper Egypt.
AntX operates as a research and development as a service provider, delivering electronic solutions, embedded systems, Internet of Things applications, and industrial automation technologies in collaboration with partners across multiple sectors. Magnum Egypt focuses on robotics programming and electronics education, offering hands-on training programmes for students through partnerships with schools and educational institutions in Upper Egypt and other governorates.
The acquisition is positioned as a step toward building a more integrated ecosystem that connects applied research with talent development. Both companies framed the deal within a broader shift taking place in Upper Egypt, where technology and education ventures are increasingly seeking structured growth models that allow them to scale operations while aligning institutional development with workforce preparation.
