Saudi Logistics Services to Acquire Belgium’s Aviapartner Liege for $3
The acquisition gives Saudi Logistics Services Company a presence at one of Europe’s major cargo hubs.
Saudi Logistics Services Company (SAL) has signed a sale and purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Aviapartner Liege, a Belgium-based ground handling company operating at Liege Airport.
The acquisition is valued at SAR 123 million ($32.8 million) and was concluded with Aviapartner Belgium NV and Aviapartner Holding NV. SAL stated that the transaction will be financed in cash using the company’s available resources.
Liege Airport is considered one of Europe’s key air cargo hubs, handling significant volumes of freight traffic across the continent.
The acquisition is expected to establish SAL’s operational presence in Europe while expanding its cargo ground handling and logistics services at international airports.
According to the company, the move forms part of a broader international expansion strategy focused on strengthening logistics capabilities and diversifying revenue streams geographically. The deal also supports the company’s objective of building a wider global network of cargo handling operations.
