UAE-headquartered open banking platform Tarabut has acquired Servable, a Bahrain-founded artificial intelligence engineering company focused on regulated industries, in a move aimed at strengthening AI-driven services across its open finance platform. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The acquisition brings Servable’s AI capabilities into Tarabut’s infrastructure in Bahrain, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, enabling new tools for income verification, credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and compliance automation. Tarabut said the integration is designed to enhance how banks and financial institutions deploy data-driven services within regulated environments.

Founded in Bahrain in 2017, Tarabut operates an open finance platform that connects banks, fintechs, and enterprises across multiple Gulf markets. Servable, established in 2024, develops AI systems specifically designed for highly regulated sectors. Its platform is structured around three components: a Data Agent that generates synthetic and privacy-preserving datasets, an AI Lab for secure model training and evaluation across machine learning and large language models, and an AI Gateway that manages deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle governance.

Servable’s technology supports use cases including financial reporting, decision support, operational automation, and customer engagement, with built-in controls covering security, privacy, and system resilience. By embedding these capabilities, Tarabut aims to provide institutions with more advanced decisioning tools while maintaining regulatory and data protection requirements.
