Notion, a US-based AI-enabled workspace platform used for note-taking, project management and team collaboration, has introduced full Arabic language support across its product as it deepens its presence in the Middle East.

The update makes Arabic available across Notion’s web and mobile applications, as well as its homepage and key website sections. The move is intended to support teams, founders and creators in Arabic-speaking countries who rely on the platform to organise work, manage projects and collaborate using flexible, AI-driven tools.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Notion said the Middle East has emerged as one of its most active growth markets, supported by rapid digital adoption and a strong startup ecosystem. The company reports millions of users across the region, with the UAE accounting for hundreds of thousands. Regional organisations including Emirates Foundation and Emirates Investment Bank use the platform, while more than 1,000 UAE-based startups have joined Notion’s Startups Program.

The Arabic rollout builds on years of organic adoption in the region, where professionals have increasingly used Notion to document workflows, manage cross-border teams and operate across multiple languages. To coincide with the update, the company hosted a “Make with Notion” community showcase in Dubai, bringing together founders, creators and users and signalling a push to strengthen its regional engagement.
