Global She Loves Tech Competition Opens Applications

The world’s largest startup competition for women, She Loves Tech, has opened applications for its seventh edition, with prizes of up to $50,000 up for grabs. Operated by She Loves Tech, an international nonprofit committed to bridging the funding gap for female entrepreneurs, it avidly works to cultivate an ecosystem that creates equal opportunities for women in tech.

The competition seeks out and accelerates top female entrepreneurs and their technologies to maximise their transformative impact. This year’s edition will be held across over 40 countries and hosted at major technology hubs throughout the world.

Participating startups will be offered one-on-one sessions with leading venture capital (VC) firms, have access to mentoring hours with industry leaders, and will be able to receive direct cash and investment prizes throughout the programme.

The platform’s Co-Founder, Leanne Roberts, emphasised that “She Loves Tech 2021 is more than a competition, it’s an acceleration platform designed to take women-led and women impact startups to the next level.”

So far, startups which have previously participated in She Loves Tech competitions have raised an accumulation of $250 million in funds. The organisation aims to unlock and bring in over $1 billion of investments for women-led businesses by 2030.
