Msheireb Properties & Fintech MEEZA to Launch AI Companion in Doha

Msheireb Properties, the developer behind Msheireb Downtown Doha, has signed an agreement with MEEZA to introduce an AI-powered digital companion across the district.

The system, developed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, will be deployed through 15 interactive kiosks operating as a 24/7 digital concierge. Users will be able to access navigation, receive real-time information, book event tickets, make dining reservations and complete transactions through a single interface, supported by a companion mobile application.

A pilot phase is scheduled to begin at the end of April, with full interactive capabilities expected by late May. A holographic version of the AI system will also be showcased at the Msheireb Properties showroom, presenting information on the district’s infrastructure and sustainability features.

The rollout forms part of ongoing efforts to expand smart city capabilities within Msheireb Downtown Doha, integrating artificial intelligence into everyday services and visitor experiences.

Ali Al Kuwari said the partnership supports the development of more integrated and responsive services, while Mohamed Al Ghaithani noted that the system is designed to enhance how users interact with digital infrastructure across the district.

Founded in 2008, MEEZA provides managed IT, data centre and cloud services, supporting digital transformation across government and private sector organisations.

The introduction of the AI digital companion builds on Msheireb Downtown Doha’s existing smart infrastructure, with a focus on improving accessibility, service delivery and real-time engagement across the city.
