Outliers VC & SVC Launch 2026 Fellowship to Build Saudi Tech Talent

Launched with Saudi Venture Capital Company, the Outliers Fellowship 2026 aims to develop execution-ready operators through placements in high-growth tech companies across the Kingdom.

Startup Scene

Outliers Venture Capital has launched the Outliers Fellowship Program 2026, a selective operator-focused initiative designed to develop hands-on talent for Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing technology sector. The programme is being delivered in exclusive partnership with the Saudi Venture Capital Company and targets early-career candidates seeking direct exposure to company-building in high-growth environments.

The fellowship embeds participants across engineering, product, and business roles within scaling technology companies and investment firms. Fellows take part in structured, in-person programming in Riyadh alongside their placements, with acceptance rates kept in the single digits. Organisers said more than 40% of participants in the previous cohort secured extended or follow-on roles by the end of the programme.

The 2026 edition builds on last year’s inaugural cohort, which drew hundreds of applicants from 14 countries and delivered a summer-long programme in Riyadh featuring curated sessions and company placements. Previous fellows came from institutions including UC Berkeley, Purdue University, King’s College London, and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

This year’s programme will offer summer internships with companies across the Outliers and SVC networks, including Lean, Strataphy, Stream, Lendo, Penny, Soum, Ejari, and Stitch. Fellows will also receive one-on-one mentorship, participate in weekly in-person sessions, and join a long-term alumni community.

Applications for the Outliers Fellowship Program 2026 open on January 26th and close on February 27th.
