Nowlun, an Egypt-based logistics startup, has raised $1.7 million in seed funding. The round was led by Nama Ventures and A15, with participation from Sanabil 500 Global and prominent angel investors.
The investment will support Nowlun's expansion and the continued development of its technology platform, which provides instant, transparent, and competitive ocean freight rates, streamlined shipment management and real-time cargo tracking.
Founded in 2021 by Moataz Khamis (CEO), Mahmoud Khaled (CTO) and Ahmed Emara (COO), Nowlun's platform integrates with all major shipping lines, giving businesses access to real-time pricing and enabling quicker, data-driven decisions. Nowlun’s shipment management system also offers a control tower for real-time tracking, instant notifications, and proactive issue management.
