Ayman Abbas Takes 10% Stake in Proptech Aqar Exit
The investment values the Egyptian platform at $2 million, with new funding set to support product launches and expansion into Gulf markets.
Egyptian proptech platform Aqar Exit has secured a 10% investment from entrepreneur Ayman Mamdouh Abbas, Executive Chairman of Intro Holding Group, valuing the company at $2 million, or around LE 100 million.
Founded in July 2026, Aqar Exit connects sellers looking to exit instalment-based property contracts with buyers seeking units at their original contract prices. The platform facilitates contract transfers rather than primary property sales.
According to the company, sellers can recover amounts they have already paid without incurring assignment fees, while buyers can access units without paying additional resale premiums. Aqar Exit says it has recorded LE 9 billion in transactions since launching around two months ago.
Founder and CEO Dr Mahmoud Ammar said the investment will fund new product launches and support international expansion, particularly into Gulf markets.
The company is also targeting a funding round of approximately $5 million in 2027, with plans to attract investors and investment funds from Egypt and abroad.
