Bonat Secures $6M Series A to Expand Across GCC
Backed by stc Group’s venture arm, the Riyadh-based startup is set to to ramp up its AI personalisation and expand across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Riyadh-based AI-powered customer engagement platform, Bonat, has raised $6 million in a Series A led by stc Group’s corporate venture arm, Tali Ventures, with participation from anb Seed Fund, Rua Growth Fund, RZM Investments, and a network of angel investors.
Founded in 2019 by Saud Binsaeed, Bonat enables merchants to convert walk-ins into loyal customers through AI-driven analytics, behaviour-based marketing automation and digital wallet integrations. The platform supports thousands of retailers and F&B brands across Saudi Arabia and connects with over six million users.
“This investment fuels our next chapter: scaling faster, advancing AI integration, and empowering businesses to turn every customer interaction into revenue growth," said Binsaeed, who also serves as CEO. "We are proud to be building one of the region’s most impactful data-driven engagement platforms."
The company plans to deepen its AI capabilities, roll out personalised campaign automation, and expand across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. It will also expand into new verticals such as retail and services, and integrate payments and mobile wallets so merchants can manage the full customer journey from a single dashboard.
