In less than a year, BuyAnyInsurance.com emerged out of the online market of insurance comparison in the UAE. Since then, they’ve managed to make affordable insurance policies accessible to more Emiratis in double quick time, and now the startup is facing off their next phase with optimism as they continue to innovate. The Dubai-based startup aims to revamp their website, onboard more partners, and develop their tech-based by implementing new features such as voice-search assisted navigation and more.
Hosting insurance industry leaders as their partners BuyAnyInsurance.com has carved out a niche especially in car insurance, but it’s not enough for Michael Ilyas and Mark Bachayani, co-founders of the insurance comparison platform
“I would like to think I now understand the unique challenges of the market here in the UAE and therefore I firmly believe that there is room for improvement in the online insurance space,” says Michael Ilyas when talking about the next step for their website. “Things can be done better on the digital side, the UX and also on the sales and customer service side.”
The startup’s product aims to eliminate the hurdles related to time and aspires to use innovation to make insurance as easy to get as possible, whilst spreading awareness and allowing anyone to access their services with ease, including people with visual and physical impairments and differently-abled individuals.
“Everyone doesn’t find it easy navigating websites, and for differently-abled customers it can be a challenge to fill in forms. Our voice-search feature will make it easier for them to get the insurance coverage they need,” explains Mark Bachayani. “Just imagine hopping on to your PC, or opening BuyAnyInsurance.com on your mobile while you’re busy cooking, or typing presentations at work. All it takes is a quick voice command and you get insurance quotes specific to your needs pop up on your screen. What usually took minutes can now be done in seconds,” he adds.
Voice-search features aren’t new. The likes of Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant have pioneered the voice-search feature and made the lives of many very easy. However, using this innovation to make insurance easy to get to is new, and certainly unheard of in the UAE. It will change how many people search for and buy insurance.
