Led by Azur Innovation Fund Witamax and MFounders, the round backs a SaaS rollout and ridepooling pilots.

Morocco-based urban mobility startup Enakl has closed a $2.3 million Seed funding round to scale its intelligent shared transport solutions and prepare the rollout of a software-as-a-service platform. The round was led by Azur Innovation Fund, Witamax and MFounders, with follow-on investment from Catalyst Fund and Digital Africa, and was finalised in December 2025.

The company said the funding will accelerate the deployment of its shared mobility solutions for companies, public-sector actors and end users, while supporting the testing of new ridepooling fleet models. Enakl’s platform is designed to optimise transport operations through real-time data, enabling flexible shared networks that improve efficiency and reduce congestion.

Enakl develops proprietary technology to design, deploy and manage shared transport systems dynamically. After 18 months of research and development, the platform is fully operational and has been adopted in live environments, according to the company.

In 2025, Enakl secured its first public-sector pilot contract with the Casablanca–Settat Region, marking an early step into government-backed mobility programmes. The Seed round follows a $1.4 million pre-Seed raise completed at the end of 2024, led by Catalyst Fund alongside Renew Capital and other investors.

The company said the latest funding positions Enakl to expand further within Morocco while laying the groundwork for regional and international growth as demand for shared and optimised transport solutions increases.
