GoDaddy Launches Arabic Website to Support SMEs in the MENA Region

Arabic is the sixth most widely spoken language in the world, but Arabic content only makes up around 5% of the internet. A vicious cycle impedes small companies in the Arab world from creating Arabic websites, due to the time and effort needed to do so, which in turn deprives the Arabic internet from a wealth of local, informative content by and for the region’s small businesses.

Aiming to empower SMEs to build an online presence using the Arabic language, GoDaddy has just launched a beta version of their website in Arabic, which will help small businesses across the MENA region build an online presence.

GoDaddy’s Arabic website now offers SMEs with various digital tools and solutions, content as well as customer support in Arabic, with the ultimate aim of aiding them in meeting different business needs. Tools – available in both English and Arabic - include support on account management, Linux Hosting (cPanel), SSL Certificates, Domains and Websites and Marketing.

“Across the MENA region, we have localised our marketing communications in both Arabic and English to help raise awareness of the GoDaddy brand and benefits of creating an online presence for a business, along with guiding our customers along their online journey,” says Selina Bieber, Senior Regional Director for Turkey, MENA and South Africa at GoDaddy. “Now, we are focused on offering a customer experience for our Arabic-speaking customers to easily use our online products and services.”
