Grubtech has partnered with Foodics to provide the former’s customers with access to Foodics’ advanced point of sale (POS), a partnership which will integrate 7,000 restaurants served by Foodics with a handful of food aggregators including Careem, Talabat, and Jahez.

As a business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS), Dubai-based Grubtech is a platform for delivery-centred restaurants, virtual brands, and cloud kitchens, while Cairo-based Foodics boasts the Middle East’s most advanced POS system.

The new integration will give restaurants access to centrally-managed menus as well as receiving orders from food aggregators directly from the Foodics POS. This will effectively eliminate the need for multiple tablets from food aggregators and the process of manually punching in orders, saving time and effort while decreasing errors.

Commenting on the new partnership, Grubtech’s Co-founder & CEO , Mohamed Al Fayed said that "reliance on online food ordering has accelerated in the last year and will continue to grow, bringing on a number of new challenges for restaurants, such as efficiently dealing with omni-channel food ordering, maximizing efficiency and reducing the time from order to doorbell.”

Since its founding in 2019, Grubtech has assisted hundreds of brands and kitchens in the Middle East in adapting their business to the new delivery-centric market environment, a market accelerated by the pandemic.
